Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of bidbetter.lol (the "Service"), including the public leaderboard, category directories, product pages, checkout, and related features. By using the Service, creating a listing, or completing a payment, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service and do not pay for a ranking. Before checkout you must confirm, by checking a box, that you have read and agree to these Terms.

The Service is operated by James Wangjen, an individual based in India ("we", "us", "our"). The Service is provided from https://bidbetter.lol.

These Terms work together with the public Rules. If the Rules and these Terms conflict, these Terms control.
What the Service is
bidbetter.lol is a paid public ranking. You may pay to list a product website or social media profile and to occupy a rank based on the amount paid, according to the Rules. Listings are paid advertisements, not editorial reviews, certifications, endorsements, or independent rankings.
A payment buys a chance to appear on the board at the rank that amount can take at the time it is fulfilled. It does not buy traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, exclusive placement, a fixed duration at a specific rank, search-engine ranking, or any particular result. Someone else can pay more and outrank you. Today's board only counts spend in a rolling 24-hour window. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, including takeovers, categories, and ranking formulas.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- If you use the Service for a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and "you" includes that company.
- You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from receiving services under the laws of India, the United States, or another applicable jurisdiction, including trade sanctions.
Payments, Dodo Payments, and taxes
Checkout is processed by Dodo Payments. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers. Dodo Payments' terms and privacy notice also apply to the payment itself. Amounts are priced in US dollars. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
Rank amounts, minimums, #1 increments, raise-only-the-difference charges, and takeover pricing are described in the Rules and shown before you pay. Completing checkout is an offer to buy ranking placement on those terms. Rank is assigned when payment is confirmed and the listing is written to the board, at whatever position that amount then supports.
Refund policy
All listing and rank claim fees are final, non-refundable, and non-cancellable. Because rank placement is assigned, processed, and displayed live immediately upon successful checkout, the Service is considered fully delivered at the moment of payment. We do not offer refunds, credits, or charge reversals for any reason, including if you are outbid by another user, if your listing is removed for violation of guidelines, or if you decide to change or delete your listing.
Listing ownership and operator details
You must own or hold the explicit authorization to represent any website or social handle you bid for on the Service. For website domain listings, the destination page must display valid, current company or operator information (such as legal entity name, a postal address, and a functional contact method) that identifies the person or company legally responsible for the project. For social media handles, you must be authorized to represent the account, and any external website it links to must meet these same disclosure standards.
Listings featuring fake, incomplete, impersonated, or unverifiable operator details are grounds for immediate removal. We reserve the right to take down any listing at any time if these details are not in order, without any refund.
Your warranties as a bidder
By submitting a URL, social handle, or payment, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the full legal right to list that destination and direct incoming visitors to it.
- The listing and the destination website comply with all applicable advertising, consumer protection, privacy, intellectual property, and industry-specific regulations.
- You are not impersonating another brand, trademark, or creator, nor claiming a rank on behalf of a competitor without their permission.
- The destination contains no malware, scams, phishing links, or deceptive elements meant to exploit visitors.
- All information you submit to the Service is accurate, and you will maintain its accuracy.
Prohibited listings and misuse
In addition to the standard Rules, you may not use the Service for:
- Adult or pornographic content, sexually explicit materials, invite/invite-only links to private chat groups (e.g., Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp), or link-cloaking services used to mask the destination URL.
- Illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or violent content, or material exploiting minors.
- Counterfeit items, unauthorized streaming services, or direct infringement of third-party copyrights or trademarks.
- Regulated offerings requiring licenses you do not hold (such as weapons, gambling, medical products, or financial services).
- Actions that interfere with the Service, including scraping, manipulating visitor metrics, automated rank claims, or reverse engineering the system.
Right to moderate and remove listings
We reserve the absolute right to refuse, delay, edit, recategorize, hide, or permanently remove any listing at our sole discretion, with or without notice. This applies if we believe these Terms or the Rules have been violated, if a trademark holder files a valid complaint, if operator details are missing, or if the listing presents a reputational or security risk. Removal of a listing does not entitle you to any refund.
Fair use and third-party content
To display the ranking board, our systems pull publicly available metadata from listed destinations (such as names, social handles, descriptions, brand logos, favicons, open graph tags, and profile images). We use this metadata solely to identify the listed site or profile and to show visitors where the paid link leads, representing nominative fair use of trademarks.
All third-party trademarks, product names, and company logos displayed on the board remain the sole property of their respective owners. The bidbetter.lol brand, wordmark, and visual layout are our exclusive property; you may not copy the design, scrape the board to build competing products, or use our brand in a way that implies an endorsement.
License you grant us
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, cache, reproduce, adapt (for size and format optimization), and publicly display your listing and metadata as long as necessary to operate and archive the Service. You also grant visitors a right to view your listing. If you want a listing taken down, email us at contact@bidbetter.lol. Please note that takedowns do not undo or refund completed payments.
Complaints and infringement notices
If you believe a listing infringes your copyright, trademark, or legal rights, please email us at contact@bidbetter.lol with: (1) your contact details, (2) the URL of the infringing listing on our board, (3) a description of the infringement, and (4) a statement confirming you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder. Repeat or abusive notices may be ignored.
No endorsement or income guarantees
Appearance on the leaderboard is not an endorsement or review by us. We do not verify claims, pricing, or description accuracy of listed links. Click and visitor counters are tracking logs and do not guarantee traffic, sales, or financial results. Links pointing to external destinations leave the Service, and we are not responsible for their terms or content.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE.
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, LOST GOODWILL, SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, OR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE LISTING IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless James Wangjen and any operators of the Service from and against any claims, damages, losses, or legal fees arising out of your listing content, your destination site, your payments or chargebacks, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms, the Rules, and your use of the Service shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitute your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
